Digital Asset Custody x Tokenization Working Group
GDF mobilized a new Custody Working Group in partnership with the International Securities Services Association (ISSA). The WG published “Digital Asset Custody Deciphered” in Q4 2023.
As institutional adoption of digital assets accelerates – evidenced by Bitcoin and Ethereum ETPs, tokenized RWAs, and a booming $200B stablecoin market – custody remains a critical pillar in ensuring these assets are secure, compliant, and bankruptcy remote.
In this vein, GDF has launched DAC x Tokenization Working Group to build on GDF’s previous work as well as Zodia Custody’s “The Future of Custody in a Tokenised World” published in 2024 with the objective of bringing to the forefront latest industry intelligence, tackling key challenges and opportunities in DAC as tokenization markets scale in an industry-led report.
