Khalid Howladar is the Founder and Managing Partner of Acreditus, a Dubai-based MEA advisory firm that specializes in an eclectic mix of credit, Islamic finance and digital assets advisory for institutional and sovereign clients. He is also an active Angel investor and serves as a Board Advisor to a large portfolio of EMEA fintech, blockchain and AI startups. He gained regional prominence from his 16 years at Moody’s in London (structured credit) and Dubai (banks, securitisation) culminating as both the Head / GCC Banks and Global Head / Islamic Finance. An engaging orator he has spoken at events ranging from crypto to credit and regularly lectures a several European B-schools. Lastly, he is passionate about tech as an enabler for inclusion and empowerment.
