Evelynn Law

Analyst

Evelynn is an Analyst at Global Digital Finance (GDF) and a graduate from LSE Law School. With a legal background, she is particularly interested in the jurisdictional differences in digital finance policy-making and the role of industry standards in complementing evolving regulatory frameworks.

At GDF, Evelynn works closely with the Tokenization Forum, Digital Payments Forum, and various working groups. This year, her work includes supporting the Sustainability Report, which is currently in development as part of the Sustainable Finance Tokenization Working Group. She also supports the Tokenized Money Market Funds Working Group in exploring the potential of tokenized MMFs as on-chain collateral for derivatives margin.

Previously, Evelynn supported GDF’s Private Markets Digitization Steering Group which developed the FinP2P protocol. She now works with the newly launched GDF/FIX Joint Working, which aims to promote interoperability by leveraging the FinP2P protocol. Additionally, she assisted in surveying GDF members, insights from which have since guided the launch of various GDF initiatives to deliver on members’ priority areas.
