Register for our autumn Digital Finance Forum on October 23rd featuring a fireside chat on the Travel Rule. The GDF Digital Finance Forum is our bi-monthly fixture providing policy updates, overviews of the live global consultations, and updates on the digital assets industry. GDF members and the wider financial services community are invited to join the discussion on the latest regulatory developments, key aspects of industry feedback on consultations, and hear presentations on institutional adoption, enforcement trends, and other current industry areas of focus.
Alongside the deep dive on the Travel Rule, this session will include a global policy and regulatory overview. It will also feature an overview from Chen Arad (Solidus Labs) and Nathan Cantania (XReg Consulting) on their recent paper which provides an in depth look at the current staking landscape on Ethereum with discussion of critical legal and compliance questions, as well as different types of staking and the dynamic roles of block-building participants. We will also hear from Kirsteen Harrison (Zumo) on who is caught by the new MiCA sustainability disclosure requirements, when the MiCA crypto sustainability disclosure rules come into effect, and how the MiCA sustainability disclosure requirements need to be addressed.
The Digital Finance Forum is provided at two separate times. GDF will run a morning session at 08.00 GMT | 16.00 SGT | 19.00 AEST, and an afternoon session at 15.00 GMT | 10.00 EST | 07.00 PST.
