The Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) is an independent think tank engaged in cutting edge defence and security research. Its Centre for Financial Crime and Security Studies is dedicated to improving the effectiveness of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing measures in the UK and globally. In pursuit of that objective, the Centre conducts policy-focused research on how the existing financial crime regime should evolve in light of the developments in virtual asset space. To that end, the Centre’s researchers take part in the GDF AML/CTF Working Group to exchange views and benefit from the industry expertise assembled by the GDF. This partnership should not however be construed to constitute RUSI’s endorsement of any views or documents published by the GDF.
